Layers of Morocco was once a dream —Today, it’s a living story I invite you to join.
My name is Ibtissam, a Moroccan woman deeply rooted in her heritage — passionate about handcrafted objects, design, and the timeless beauty of traditional Moroccan rugs.
Through Layers, I wanted to build a bridge between the history of my land and the future it deserves. Because without the past, there is no future.

A Tribute to the Women Who Weave
At the heart of Layers of Morocco lies a small cooperative of Amazigh women in the Happy Valley of Aït Bouguemez. After two years of silence, their looms sing again.
We proudly contribute to the rebirth of this ancestral craft — not only by creating jobs, but by restoring pride, continuity, and hope.
Every handmade rug is a second chance, a story of resilience and rebirth of the craft. Through their hands, the memory of Morocco’s mountains becomes art and legacy.
