TAMEGHRA means wedding, the joyful union celebrated in Amazigh villages. This rug tells of two weddings at once: the union of families and the union of traditional forms with contemporary aesthetics.
The diamond, an ancient symbol of fertility and union, is reimagined here in a soft, modern palette. Each motif becomes a bridge between past and present, between the weavers’ memory and today’s creative design.
Part of the Paths of Aït Bouguemaz, Tameghra embodies the promise of a meeting: tradition and modernity dancing together like newlyweds.
